If I tell you that this diabolically entertaining spellbinder is about a student trying to master the arcane art of jazz drumming at an elite music conservatory, you might get all bored and pass on it. That would be really stupid though !! Whiplash is a battle to the death…

Springtime brings flowering tulips, daffodils and other bulb flowers to Keukenhof Gardens in Lisse, The Netherlands. Keukenhof Gardens, also known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the largest flower gardens in the world, with about seven million flowering bulbs planted every year.

The colorful tulips that have become symbolic of Holland are in their peak season every year in April and May. The best time to view the tulips is around mid-April, but this is dependent on the weather during the growing season which can vary year by year.

If you’re a fan of picture-perfect little European towns, then I’m sure you’ve stumbled across a photo of this one before. It was actually once dubbed the “most beautiful lake town in the world,” and today, it’s arguably Austria’s most photographed village.

Built along the western shore of a mountain lake, the town consists of idyllic half-timbered structures. It’s located in a region rich with history and is part of a larger UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Landscape.

The sheer volume of visitors here can be nerve-fraying though, especially in summer, with a sea of cars, buses and tour groups descending !!

Berlin is Germany’s capital and the largest city in the country. It has one of the most turbulent histories of any European capital but has emerged as one of Europe’s most popular destinations in recent years. There is a lot of history and art here, and Berlin has become very popular with students and young artists, writers, and creatives who have become the city’s new ‘immigrants’.

Berlin is an old city with a young heart and one of the most fun, coolest, most diverse and eclectic cities in Europe. There’s a constant sense of motion here…
